There are places I remember, in my life…

My name is Noelia Maizel, I am 16 years old and in my last holidays I lived a wonderful experience.
On January I traveled to England to do an English course during a month. I stayed in the “Bell Language School” in Saffron Walden. Saffron is a little village near Cambridge where the people are really kind.
I have to confess that , firstly, I was a little bit scared because I would be far from my house during a month but then, the previous days to the trip, I was really anxious and when I was in England I did not miss anything. I forgot that I had a life here!
During my stay in U.K, I had different emotions, I had to cope with the language, I could visit incredible places but the best thing ,and I am sure of that, was what I lived inside the school. We slept there, and we were always meeting new people from different parts of the world so, I could know diverse cultures and I made really good friends.
Furthermore, after my experience in Saffron, I feel that my English is more fluent, that I lost my insecurity and may be the fear to make a mistake. In the classes we worked a lot orally! Also, in classes we used internet, we could go to the library (which was enormous! With books, magazines, videos, cassettes) and in the afternoon you could choose a class depending on what you would like focus.
In addition, we had free time, when we could visit the country. The school organized activities and trips, and the students planned parties too. For example, I could visit Liverpool , the birthplace of “The Beatles”! which was a dream in my life. I traveled alone but the Bell's staff helped me to find a hostel and to book the transport.
To sum up and making clear that this was a memorable experience in many aspects, I recommend this journey to all those young students who want to, just for a moment, live in a world without frontiers.
